Check-out either of the two Saguaro National Parks - East or West. Keep in mind: Saguaro National Park East has more hiking trails and is more mountainous. (Britta loves running here and Tyler loves biking here!)

Sabino Canyon is located in the Santa Catalina Mountains - you can either do the long hike or take a tram to explore!
The tram will drop you off at several spots to explore.
The hike is 8 miles total round trip on a cement path (4 miles to the end). Please note: there are some streams and your shoes might get wet : )

Tyler’s mom & dad were married on Mount Lemmon! Britta & Tyler will be here the morning of the wedding day, they love coming here - lots of hiking trails…but with pine trees, not cacti! It’s usually 30 degrees cooler up here. Check-out the cute Summerhaven town and eat a cookie at the Cookie Cabin.

Reserve a Classic Cave Tour! This half-mile long guided walk takes about 40 minutes to complete. You’ll learn about the Cave’s history, its legends (like train robbers and ghosts), and its unique geology.

Yes, the Bioshpere 2 is real! It’s located in Oracle, Arizona. The facility was originally developed to study survivability and assess whether humans were capable of building and living in self-sustaining colonies in outer space. The Reid Park Zoo is only a 5 minute drive from the lodge!
The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a 98-acre zoo, aquarium, botanical garden, natural history museum, publisher, and art gallery founded in 1952. Located just west of Tucson, Arizona, it features two miles of walking paths traversing 21 acres of desert landscape.
It’s a 35 minute drive from the lodge.
The Pima Air & Space Museum is one of the world's largest non-government funded aerospace museums. The museum features a display of nearly 300 aircraft spread out over 80 acres on a campus occupying 127 acres.
